Selamat Hari Raya

It is a national holiday in Singapore today - Hari Raya Adilfitri. It is to celebrate the end of the month of fasting for Muslims. It is a happy day for all Singaporeans for we too get an extra day to play!

Recipe to a great national holiday:

1. Wake at 6.30am to run & play tennis with great friends

2. Change picnic plans to Jones the Grocer when it rains.
Order French Earl Grey Tea, Sourdough toast with Scramble Eggs
Add an avocado and mushrooms as sides
And a Scone with Raspberry Jam and Butter

One of my childhood friends - fen

3. Receive a present that shows a photo of 3 of us at 12 years old.
(Yes, there is one more childhood friend - JH)

4. Buy a little-elephant-balancing-apples toy

5. Visit the National Museum and find out how very lucky you are!
Admission is free today!
Enjoy a 3.5hr audio tour on Singapore's history

Viola~ a great national holiday!
I am completely proud of my country and all the gallant men and women who made our independence possible.

Majulah Singapura!
